TNM Staging

• T (Tumour): categorises the size of the tumour, with T1-T4 being allocated to tumours of increasing size.
• N (Node): describes the level of lymph node involvement. N1-N3 describes the number and location of the nodes.
• M (Metastasis): this is the level of spread of the cancer. Numbers 0-1 describe whether there is evidence of spread or not.
